Pitiful Dancing

Good evening universe, and welcome to another exhausting day, here on Looks Like Coffee, Tastes Like Juice. I'd like to start this soirée by laying myself on the table, and sincerely apologizing. I am sincerely apologizing because I had prepared a post, as well as two mixtapes, for Valentines Day, Presidents Day (US) and Family Day (Canada, also known as StupidHolidayLand). Just the fact that I had the time on all of those holidays, as well as the resources, yet failed to even post, makes me shudder uncontrollably and shake with a self-loathing. So, for the sole reason that most of the world (spare approximately 5 lucky souls) did not get to hear an ass kicking Valentines Mixtape, I am truly remorseful. Anyways though, the earth is going to keep gravitating around the sun, Christmas will keep occurring on December 25th, and political imbroglios will continue to be prevalent, so, no serious harm has been done. Onwards? I think so!

Today's inanely short post is going to only consist of a mixtape, although a rather wonderful one, if I do say so.

Pitiful Dancing; An Official Looks Like Coffee, Tastes Like Juice Mixtape!

1. Now We Can See - The Thermals
2. Contender - The Pains of Being Pure at Heart
3. Thin Blue Flame - Josh Ritter
4. My Maudlin Career - Camera Obscura
5. Is This Love? - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah

Have a phenomenal day,
and just so you're aware,
I've prepared a little surprise for all of you at the end of the week.

I like American Music

Alright everyone, before I start the post, I'd just like to state that I'm really tired right now(I just ran into a tree, and now I'm suffering severely... don't ask) . Therefore, what would be tonight's lengthy post is going to replaced by what I was originally planning to do next Sunday. I think it'll have the same effect though. If you haven't guessed already, it's time for the Back To School Mixtape.

I Am Gonna Make It Through This Year, If It Kills Me; A Back To School Mixtape Pt. 1

This Year - The Mountain Goats

The Coolest Kid In School - The Teeth

1921 - The Who

American Music - Violent Femmes

Returning To The Fold - The Thermals

Teachers - Leonard Cohen

That's all for today, Pt.2 comes tomorrow.

Locust tornadoes, crosses, and Nazi halos

Good morning everyone! When I say morning, I don't mean "normal person" morning, I mean 7:48 a.m on a Friday morning which happens to be a PA day for myself. This particular Friday, though, is like no other. This Friday signifies the birth off... well, me. I know it doesn't sound as exciting as the lead-in but, trust me, I am excited behind belief. So, I thought, for my birthday post, instead of trying to appeal to the readers of this blog, which I constantly try to do, I'm going to just appeal to myself. So, enjoy this selfish and self-deprecation-free post, but if you don't, I don't give a shit anyways.
