The teachers who taught me weren't cool

Hello everyone, and welcome to another incredibly HOT Thursday evening, here on Looks Like Coffee, Tastes Like Juice. It is currently 30 degrees out right now (or approximately 88 degrees Fahrenheit, for all you Americans) and I can honestly say that my skin is basically boiling and my eyeballs resemble poached eggs. Yeah, I think that's a pretty good comparison. Alright, well, tonight's post is going to be another one of those short summer posts. The reason these posts are getting shorter, but hopefully not declining in quality, is that the summer is really starting to set in, and with the hectic activities that surround the end of the school year, and I can barely muster the energy to sit down and write a decent sized post. So, for the next little while, please bear with me, as the music will be just as fantastic as it always is. Anyways, let's get into it.

Band of the Week: Fionn Regan

As you can see, the Band of the Week is Fionn Regan. A bit of information about Mr.Regan? Sure! Fionn Regan is a poet, artist and singer/songwriter from Bray, Ireland. He recently (July 2007) released his debut album, The End Of History, in America. Apart from this album, Mr.Regan has only released three EP's, so he is a relative newcomer on the music scene. His music is generally acoustic, and mostly focuses on Fionn's masterful finger-picking, beautiful lyrics, and wonderful voice, which reminds me of a young Neil Young.

So, enjoy a couple tracks from Fionn Regan's debut album, The End Of History, and a live cover.

So, enjoy the beautiful weather.
