Hello everyone, and welcome to another still Thursday evening, here on Looks Like Coffee, Tastes Like Juice. Tonight has been very pleasant for me, and coupled with this feeling of pleasantness, I'm also feeling some extreme exhaustion. So, because of this, the post tonight is going to extremely short, but incredibly sweet. So prepare your tiny mind for the earth shattering awesomeness, the colossally magnificent, Band of the Week.
The Band of the Week ; Atlas Sound
Atlas Sound is Bradford James Cox solo project. In case you don't know who Mr.Cox is, here's a little background information. Bradford James Cox, the lead singer of Deerhunter, was born in Athens, Georgia in 1982. He is openly gay, and claims to be a virgin (which is cool with this blog). Another interesting fact about Mr.Cox is that he surfers from Marfan Syndrome. If you don't know what Marfan Syndrome is, I sure as hell didn't, you can read up on it right here.
Atlas Sound released their first full LP this year, entitled Let the Blind Lead Those Who Can See but Cannot Feel. It is very good, and I can guarantee it will end up on my end of the year list.
