For awhile I heard you, missing steps in the street.

Hello everyone, and welcome to another dark, ridiculously mosquito-infested Saturday evening, here on Looks Like Coffee, Tastes Like Juice. Before I get on with the Album of the Week post, I'd first and foremost like to formally apologize for the post yesterday. I hope you can understand, it just wasn't my night. Alright, secondly, I'd just like to remind everyone that the incredibly important 100th post is coming up (Monday or Tuesday, I believe), so brace yourself for that. Alright, now, I'll give you a moment to prepare yourself, for the Album of the Week.

Album of the Week; Duets 2

Frank Sinatra (born Francis Albert Sinatra) was born in Hoboken, New Jersey on December 12th, 1915. You may know him by his many other names, such as Chairman of the Board or Ol' Blue Eyes, but whatever you call him, the undeniable fact is that Mr.Sinatra is one of the most talented and well respected voices of the 20th century.

Our Album of the Week, Duets 2, was actually recorded in 1994, LONG past the pinnacle of Mr.Sinatra's career. It is the follow up to his 1993 record, Duets, which was his first taste of commercial success in almost thirty five years. This record, although generally less well-received than Duets, it still managed to reach #9 on the Billboards music charts.

So, enjoy the rest of your evening with the king of swing, Mr. Frank Sinatra.
